GBox for Android is an application that provides a platform for users to download and install various apps on their Android devices. It offers a wide range of apps, including games, productivity tools, streaming services, and more. GBox allows users to discover new and exciting apps that may not be available on the official Google Play Store. However, it is important to note that installing apps from unknown sources may void your device’s warranty or introduce security risks. Therefore, it is recommended to exercise caution and only download apps from trusted sources.

To install GBox in a BYD car, follow these steps:

  • Get a flash drive, memory stick or pen drive. Ideally empty
  • Get the APK of GBox
  • Create a folder called third party apps in your flash drive (it must be THAT name)
  • Copy the APK to the third party apps apps folder
  • Plug-in the flash drive in the USB port of your car
  • Turn off and turn on your car.
  • It will ask you for a password, type: 20211231
  • Navigate to the third party pass folder
  • Select the GBox APK and tap on install
  • Wait for a few seconds to instal the app
  • After that you will see GBox installed as any. other app

Important notes: if it doesn’t ask you for the password when you plug in the flash drive, try to turn off and turn on your BYD Car. The name of the folder MUST BE third party apps, otherwise it won’t work.

Please note that modifying the system settings and installing apps from unknown sources may void your car’s warranty or introduce security risks. Proceed with caution and ensure you only download apps from trusted sources.
